Reception 2019

Welcome to our school

I am delighted to be the Acting Headteacher of St.Leonard's. I feel proud of our school, our children and their successes. It is a pleasure to teach such happy, well-behaved and hard-working children.

I believe that every member of our school is a gift from God. As a Catholic School, we care for each other, and treat each other as Jesus teaches us, and this can be seen in all areas of school life. I am very excited about the year ahead.

We have high expectations in terms of teaching and children’s learning, behaviour, standards of achievement and progress. All the staff at our school work hard to make sure the teaching and learning is interesting, challenging and memorable.

I warmly invite you to visit our school, we are always happy show people around.

Miss Frances McVittie
